Virtual Navigator and Career Mentoring
As part of the virtual navigator's role, it is essential to offer webinars and workshops for students to promote their academic success throughout their studies at Albizu University. These educational resources aim to provide students with the necessary tools, knowledge, and guidance to excel in their chosen fields of study and to overcome any challenges they may encounter along the way. By actively engaging students in these informative sessions, the virtual navigator contributes to the development of a supportive learning environment that encourages personal growth, academic achievement, and overall student well-being.
"No matter where you come from or what your starting point is, the path to success is open to you if you are willing to walk it."

Page was created as a result of my research in the area of industry and job preparation for students transitioning to professional life. It has been found that several authors argue about the little or no preparation that high school students present after graduation. This is stated by Reyes Gonzales (2023), who mentions that the lack of support from the school, parents, and guidance on the next step has left many students feeling lost in decision-making. Similarly, there is little or no preparation for university life. For this reason, this page is established with the purpose of impacting these students and professionals on topics of professional preparation based on data from the industry itself.
This page will be available soon for the benefit and use of all students and professionals.

CAREER ADVISOR | EDUCATIONAL COORDINATOR OF PROFESSIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCES
Emanuel's experience at University of Sagrado Corazón has been diverse and learning. Santos started as a career advisor, guiding and fostering professional development among the student body from the beginning of his time at the university. In his first year, Emanuel achieved a significant increase in the use of the Symplicity platform, where he is a manager. The increase was 57% among 37 first-year students. As a career advisor, he was in charge of advising, coordinating workshops, and offering them. Now, as educational coordinator of professional and international experiences, he is the one who plans, coordinates, and identifies resources to offer at the university. Likewise, he leads the curriculum's career readiness project with the pedagogical innovation unit. In addition, he has participated in workshops and conventions such as this year's NACE 2022 (National Association of Colleges and Employers).
"I advise you decide"
Career readyness at sagrado& Curriculum integration
As part of the institution's academic offerings, it is intended to have a curriculum that meets the expectations of the student but also the labor market. A curriculum that is tied to the Passport to Success but that the student has an open door of opportunities. This is why the alignment of professional competencies and academic courses is intended to prepare students ready to enter the labor market. Emanuel is leading the efforts with Sagrado's pedagogical innovation unit. In this process, they have been strategic and analytical in the integration process and are currently in development and drafting.

This summer, he participated in the NACE 2022 conference. This was for networking and identifying possible future collaborations. Santos participated in several workshops and talks where he could meet colleagues in the industry and identify ideas for the start of the curriculum project at Sagrado.

Career pathways (mi ruta)
student success passport
As part of the industry preparation project, Emanuel was tasked with devising and creating the career pathway that will serve as a guide as students complete their degrees at Sagrado. These guides contain all the recommended activities to be performed to obtain professional competencies before graduation. This project is in its testing stage and is expected to have relevant results next year.
